Free Comic Book Day List 2023 can now be checked online. Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Retailer Selection Committee has selected 43 comic book titles for the industry’s most anticipated annual event to take place on 6th May (1st Saturday), at participating comic shops worldwide. The complete listing of all 43 FCBD titles, including 12 Gold Sponsor and 31 Silver Sponsor comic books, can be found in the December issue of Diamond Comic Distributors PREVIEWS catalog already on sale at comic book shops.
A committee of comic shop retailers chose forty-three titles to be available on Free Comic Book Day. It includes 12 Gold Sponsor comics and 31 Silver Sponsor comics that give fans an opportunity to discover new titles and genres. This year’s selection of Silver Sponsor comics includes beloved franchises such as Star Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Animal Crossing, Smurfs, and Street Fighter. Other notable Silver Sponsor titles are available from ABLAZE, Gemstone Publishing, First Second Books, Rebellion, TOKYOPOP among others.
Every year, FCBD strive to bring fans a memorable Free Comic Book Day experience. Also comic book retailers look forward to treat everyone to a day of fun and discovery and fans are expected to visit their local comic shops to celebrate. The variety of this year’s comic book selection is really exciting! There’s something for every kind of fan, from the long-time reader to the comic book curious.
