The C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, commonly referred to as C40, is a network of 96 large cities from around the world that are committed to addressing climate change and implementing sustainable policies. C40 represents 1/12 of the world’s population and 1/4th of the global economy, check the c40 cities list. The organization was established in 2005 and serves as a platform for cities to collaborate, share best practices, and work towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to the impacts of climate change.
