About Blink-182 Rock Band
In 2001, Blink-182 released their self-titled album, which showcased a more mature sound and deeper lyrical themes. However, tensions within the band led to a hiatus in 2005, during which DeLonge pursued other musical projects. The band reunited in 2009 and released their sixth studio album, “Neighborhoods”, in 2011.
After DeLonge’s departure from the band in 2015, Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio joined as the new guitarist and vocalist. The revamped lineup released the album “California” in 2016, featuring the hit single “Bored to Death.” They followed it up with “Nine” in 2019.
In October 2022, DeLonge returned to the Blink 182 band after almost eight years with a new single, “Edging”, on October 14, 2022 and an album at a future date. Blink-182 has sold over 50 million albums worldwide.
