Role of AAU in Imparting Modern Education

The AAU plays a significant role in shaping higher education policy and advocating for federal funding for research and education. It provides a platform for member universities to collaborate on research projects, share best practices, and address common challenges in higher education. In addition to the universities listed in my previous response, it’s worth noting that the AAU also includes two Canadian institutions: McGill University and University of Toronto. These Canadian universities were admitted to the AAU in 1926, becoming the only non-U.S. members of the association.
