The NBA consists of 30 teams, divided into two conferences: the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference.

Each conference is further divided into three divisions thus totalling to 6 divisions. The eastern conference includes Atlantic, Central and Southeast while western conference includes Northwest, Pacific, Southwest. Each NBA team competes in an 82-game regular season to qualify for the NBA Playoffs. The playoffs are a tournament-style competition that determines the NBA champion. The playoffs consist of multiple rounds, including the first round, conference semifinals, conference finals, and ultimately, the NBA Finals.
